Anadolu Efes Istanbul (BSL) re-signed 30-year old German ex-international center Tibor Pleiss (217-110kg-89). He has played there for the last two seasons. Pleiss helped them to win the regular season. He played 28 games in Euroleague where he averaged 9.5ppg and 4.3rpg last season.
In 2010 Pleiss was drafted by New Jersey Nets (NBA) in second round (31st overall).
Pleiss was also a member of German international program for some years. He played for German Senior National Team between 2009 and 2016 and previously for U20 National Team between 2008 and 2009.
Pleiss also represented Germany at the Qualifications to European Championships 2017 four years ago. His stats at that event were 3 games: 6.3ppg, 4.3rpg, 1.3spg, FGP: 33.3%, 3PT: 50.0%.
