ITALY: “Italian Serie A club Acqua Vitasnella Cantu has agreed to terms with American import DeQuan Jones (203 cm, Miami, Florida’12) for the 2014-15 season. Cantu will be the 24-year-old forward’s first team outside of the USA, kicking off his international career. He was a recent participant in both the Orlando and Las Vegas Summer leagues, but unfortunately did not draw any interest from NBA teams. In 2013-14 DeQuan played for the Reno Bighorns (USA-D-League) and managed to produce averages of 13.6 ppg and 4.8 rpg. He played his rookie season for the Orlando Magic. He played 62 games for them and averaged just 3.8 ppg and 1.7 rpg.”
