Zalgiris sits in fifth place with a 4-6 record and has won its last two home games to keep its playoffs options alive. One of its best players in recent games has been point guard Will Cherry, who arrived to the team late in the regular season and slowly, but steadily, has earned a big role for the Lithuanian powerhouse. Cherry is averaging 5.6 points in 11 Turkish Airlines Euroleague games this season, but has boosted his numbers to 14 points on 6-of-11 three-point shooting in Zalgiris’s last two home wins against Galatasaray Liv Hospital Istanbul and Panathinaikos.
