San Antonio- In the recent NBA Finals Series between the San Antonio Spurs and the defending champions the Miami Heat, the Spurs Danny Green stepped up to the plate to help his team win 3 games in the 7 game series and break a record along the way. Green who had a break out season with the Spurs averaged 14 points, shooting just under 67% from the 3pt range. In Game 5 of the series Green broke Ray Allen’s 2008 record for most 3 pointers in a series with his 23rd 3 pointer of the series. Green went on in the series to score 25 3 pointers in the series and prove to the world that after his long journey and third attempt in the NBA he has finally arrived.
