Ex-defender of “Unicaja”, point guard Marcus Williams signed a contract with the PBK “Lokomotiv-Kuban” on “1+1” scheme. Williams will replace the playmaker Nick Calathes, who earlier made the decision to play in NBA. The 27 years old American defender is expected to join the rest of the team at the general training camp.  Marcus Williams is one of the players that can show off with the basketball experience gained in different parts of the world.
After playing for “Connecticut” in NCAA, the defender was selected on 2006 draft by “New Jersey Jets”, where he spent two brilliant seasons. Marcus managed to show up in “Golden State Warriors”, for which he played nine games.
