First, it was player of the week.

Now, it’s player of the month.

We can only imagine what’s coming next for Mavericks’ second-year superstar Luka Doncic.

Luka magic hit a new level Tuesday as the Slovenian was honored by the NBA for the second time this season when he was named Western Conference player of the month for November. Milwaukee’s Giannis Antetokounmpo won the Eastern Conference award.

Doncic was player of the week for Nov. 22-28, when he led the Mavericks to a perfect record and averaged 37 points, 8.5 rebounds and 11.8 assists in four games. That turned out to be the appetizer for player of the month.

In 14 November games, the 6-7 point guard posted astounding numbers: 32.4 points, 10.3 rebounds and 10.4 assists. He’s just the third player to average a 30-point triple-double for a calendar month (minimum 10 games), joining Oscar Robertson and Russell Westbrook..More on Mavs.com..
