RUSSIA: “Krasnie Krilya Samara (VTB) agreed terms with 29-year old Latvian international power forward Kaspars Berzins (213-105kg-85). He played previous season at Rio Natura Monbus Obradoiro CAB in Spanish Liga Endesa. In 15 games he had 9.3ppg, 4.0rpg and 1.1bpg. Berzins also spent pre-season at VEF Riga (LBL) in Latvian league that year.
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others he won Latvian League championship title in 2008, 2011, 2012 and 2013.”
