ICELAND: “#1. This week’s number one is an international guard Jon Stefansson (192-82, currently plays in Spain). He was the major contributor in a CAI Zaragoza‘s victory against the 16th-ranked UCAM Murcia (5-11) crushing them 103-67 in the Spanish Liga Endesa in Saturday night’s game. Stefansson scored 18 points in 25 minutes on the court. CAI Zaragoza (9-8) is placed seventh in the Liga Endesa. This year Stefansson averages: 8.0ppg, 1.8rpg, 2FGP: 46.2%, 3FGP: 46.7%(14-30) and FT: 82.4% in the 10 games he played so far. He is currently a member of the Icelandic senior national team.”
