ES Chalon-Sur-Saone (Jeep ELITE ProA) strengthened their roster with addition of 32-year old Slovenian ex-international small forward Jaka Klobucar (198-91kg-87). He played most recently at Galatasaray in Turkish BSL league, but left the team in Mar.’19. In 13 games he recorded 5.3ppg, 2.4rpg and 4.0apg last season. Klobucar also played 10 games in Eurocup where he averaged 5.5ppg, 2.7rpg, 2.4apg and 1.1spg.
The previous (17-18) season he played at Istanbul BBSK (also in BSL). In 29 games he had 10.2ppg, 4.2rpg, 4.8apg and 1.4spg. Klobucar also played 13 games in FIBA Europe Cup where he got 7.2ppg, 3.5rpg and 4.8apg (top 5).
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others his team made it to the German Bundesliga Semifinals in 2015. Klobucar was selected to Turkish League All-Star Game in 2017.
He was also a member of Slovenian international program for some years. Klobucar played for Slovenian Senior National Team between 2007 and 2017 and previously for U20 National Team between 2006 and 2007..More on eurobasket.
