B.C. Zalgiris Kaunas (LKL) re-signed 25-year old American power forward Nigel Hayes (203-109kg-94, college: Wisconsin). He played there last season. In 24 LKL games he averaged 7.1ppg, 3.0rpg, 1.3apg and 1.1spg. Hayes helped them to win the cup and end the regular season at the top position. Hayes also played 28 games in Euroleague where he had 6.3ppg and 3.5rpg.
Hayes is a very experienced player. He has played also professionally in Turkey (Galatasaray), NBA (LA Lakers, New York Knicks, Sacramento Kings and Toronto Raptors), NBA G League (Westchester Knicks and Raptors 905 Missisauga) and NBA Summer League (LA Clippers)..More on Eurobasket..
