Former Stanford power forward Josh Owens, has agreed overnight to terms with Israel’s Hapoel Tel-Aviv, Eurobasket has learned. Earlier this morning, sources with knowledge of the talks between Hapoel and Owens concluded: “It’s a done deal.” Owens, a high-flying 6-foot-8 force in the paint, left a positive impression on Italian varsity Montepaschi Siena, during a preseason stint in Tuscany. In his final season at Stanford in 2012, Owens registered 11.6 points, 5.7 rebounds and 1 steal over 32 games, becoming an All-Pac-12 Second Team member. Read more..
