Movistar Estudiantes Madrid (Liga Endesa) signed 27-year old Italian international swingman Alessandro Gentile (201-104kg-92). It is actually his comeback to Movil Estudiantes as he has played here before. Gentile played last season at Dolomiti Energia Trentino in Italian Serie A. In 20 games he had very impressive stats: 15.1ppg, 4.4rpg and 2.7apg. Great season as he was named to Eurobasket.com All-Italian SerieA Honorable Mention, All-Domestic Players Team and League Player of the Week. Gentile also played 13 games in Eurocup where he recorded 13.9ppg, 4.0rpg and 2.6apg.
