RUSSIA: “Lokomotiv Kuban (PBL) landed a 25-year old American forward Derrick Brown (203-103kg-87, college: Xavier). The last season he played at the Bobcats in NBA. In 65 games last year he averaged 8.1ppg, 3.6rpg and 1.0apg. Three years ago Brown was drafted by Charlotte Bobcats (NBA) in second round (40th overall). The former Xavier University star is in his fourth season in pro basketball. Brown’s team won Atlantic 10 Regular Season for three years in a row (between 2007 and 2009). He received also All-Atlantic 10 2nd Team award back in 2009 at his college time. Brown has played also professionally in NBA (New York Knicks). ”
