SPAIN- “The Basketball Club Lucentum Alicante has signed Andy Rautins until the end of the season. The new player is Canadian, 25 years old, 1.93m. Rautins is a solid player who played  NCAA div1 at Syracuse, whose best quality is the outside shot. In 2010 he was elected in the draft by the New York Knicks in the post 38 and subsequently joined the summer league that team and  he played five games in the NBA.This year he played with the Canadian National team in the last competition of FIBA Americas. During the tournament he played a total of eight games with the Canadian group where he added 189 minutes and averaged 11.5 points, 2.6 rebounds and 1.3 assists. Three point percentage was 39.2%, in two point shots reached 52.9% and 87.5% accuracy from the free throw line.”
